TPI Commercial Hydronic Baseboard Heaters
Commercial hydronic baseboard heaters can be preferable to other types of heaters, such as fan forced heaters, in certain situations. Since hydronic baseboard heaters don’t rely on a fan in order to diffuse heat, they therefore won’t scatter dust and other irritants around the room.
Instead of air, these heaters rely on something else. Their heating elements are submerged in liquid magnesium oxide, which itself is enclosed in a copper tube with
aluminum fins. Thus, the heaters can diffuse heat efficiently without kicking up a small dust storm.
The commercial hydronic baseboard heater models come in a brown painted metal housing. Aside from the housing paint color, the commercial models differ because they have an in-built wireway cover running the entire length of each unit.
