TPI Downflow Unit Heaters
The way that downflow unit heaters work is actually interesting. They take air, blow them over the heating element, then push the heated air out into the room. Downflow heaters fan the heated air down into the room, then the air circulates back up into the heater to get heated again. TPI offers a wide variety of downflow unit heaters that were made to be durable, reliable, and safe to use.
Additionally, the heaters come with three different kinds of diffusers. These diffusers affect the coverage of the heaters. The Radial Louvered Cone Diffuser enables a stronger flow of air, the Linear Louvered Diffuser directs heat to a different direction if the heater cannot be mounted right above the required area, and the Anemostat Diffuser allows for a more widespread distribution of heated air.
