TPI Single Pole Thermostats
Both single pole and double pole thermostats are types of line voltage thermostats that are typically used to control radiant, convection, and resistance heaters. However, both types have some very important differences. Perhaps the most pertinent distinction lies in the presence of an off setting.
Single pole thermostats by TPI don’t have a true off setting. You can merely turn the dial down to the lowest setting. When this happens and the temperature dips below a certain level, the thermostat will turn kick the heater back into gear. In certain situations and applications, this might be preferable to a double pole thermostat.
