The function of a tip-over switch seems simple enough: when the heater it’s attached to tips over on its back or on the side that has the control panel, the switch will automatically turn the heater off. This tip-over switch can protect the heater against damage and can also protect against fires.
These tip-over switches by TPI come with a built-in on/off rocker switch. This
switch will glow red when it is in operation. They also come with enclosures that can be mounted directly on the back of an FSP-43/95 heater or on a wall.
