TPI Hazardous Location Wall Convectors
Convector heaters are similar to fan forced heaters in that they heat the air, but they do have some differences. Convector heaters also heat air by using a heating element, but they use air convection currents that circulate through them instead of fanning the air over the heating element. Thus, convector heaters are quieter because they don’t rely on the use of a fan. The wall convectors here have a bottom
in, top out airflow, allowing the heated air to expand in volume.
