TPI Wireless Thermostats
Wireless thermostats aren’t actually completely wireless. A “wireless” receiver is wired in the same way as wired thermostats -- the color coding of the wires is even the same. However, the “wireless” in wireless thermostats refers to the way that they control temperature settings. These thermostats have a sensor that wirelessly interacts with the receiver, thus enabling control over the heating system.
TPI offers wireless thermostats for the Clever Comfort System, a system that can learn the comings and going of people. The system can learn to put the heater on sleep mode when people leave, and to activate the heater once again 30 minutes before people arrive. There’s no need for programming, since the system can learn this independently.
