Static Eliminators

Static electrical charges often cause feeding problems for various paper machines, such as printers and paper creasers. Static electricity, or the imbalance of electric charges on surfaces, is caused by the increased contact between two surfaces, low moisture levels, or low temperatures. Lightweight coated paper with a smooth surface, in particular, is one of the things on which static electricity thrives most. That said, static charges are pretty much unavoidable and consequently cause paper jams and all other kinds of paper processing problems.
