Shredder Oil & Oilers

It’s a well-known fact that machines operate at their best when they are properly oiled. This does not only enable them to perform smoothly, but it also helps retain their quality for a long time. Shredders, in particular, are more susceptible to paper jams and damage when their cutting cylinders lack lubrication. Aside from this, they also won’t be capable of destroying sheets of paper as optimally as they are designed to. To maintain the quality of paper shredders, apply shredder oil into their openings or install oilers in them for continuous lubrication. Shredder oil and oilers for different shredder models are available here on Engineer Warehouse. Shredder oil comes in twelve 16-ounce bottles or four 1-gallon bottles. To lubricate the cutting cylinders, simply pour a stream of oil into the shredder’s feed opening. Then, let the shredder run in reverse so that the oil can evenly disperse within its internal mechanism. Oilers, on the other hand, can be installed on the side of shredders. They run on either 230 or 115 volts and can hold up to a gallon of shredder oil. While the shredders are running, these oilers pump an ounce of oil every 3 or 7 minutes.
