Punch Heads

Hole punches are great tools to bind documents together. However, after months or years of repetitive use, it is only natural that they stop working as efficiently as they used to. When this happens, it doesn’t necessarily mean that you need a new tool. Most likely, you only have to replace your tool’s punch heads.

Punch heads come in different diameters. The usual measurements are 9/32, 11/32, and 13/32 inches. Whatever the diameter of a tool’s original punch head is, the replacement punch head should have the same dimensions. <.p>

Replacement punch heads are easy to install. With the use of a screwdriver, simply unscrew the bolt behind the head that you need to replace. Once done, you should be able to pull out the worn-out head and fit in a new one. You should make sure that the new head is fitted tightly before you use it to punch. If you need to replace more than one head, simply repeat the process for the other bolts. With good quality replacement punch heads, even old hole punches can work as though they are new.
