Probe Rods
When users forcefully drive probes with poorly constructed shafts into the ground, the shafts might break apart and injure users. This is why every probe should have a durable shaft that is uniquely designed for the kind of probing task at hand. With a well-designed shaft, probing can be done safely and efficiently.
If you ever need a replacement shaft or extension rod, Engineer Warehouse has a wide array of options compatible with different kinds of probes and tips. They come in various designs and lengths, including round rods and hexagonal rods with lengths ranging from 30 to 72 inches.
Round rods are available in two different diameters: 3/8 inch and 1/2 inch. The 3/8-inch round rods work best with soil probes and standard striking head probes. One the other hand, 1/2-inch round rods are thicker and can withstand a greater amount of force, making them suitable for hammer probes and heavy-duty striking head probes.
Hexagonal rods are available in 3/8 and 7/16 inch diameters. Because of their steel construction, these rods can resist rusting, bending, and breaking even in the toughest field conditions.
