Safety pants are essential for the people who need to work in the dark and for those who need to work outdoors near roads. They’re made of brightly colored fabric and have reflective material that can reflect light from the sun, street lamps, or headlights. Because of this, these pants are not only useful during nighttime, but also during daytime.
High-visibility wear often includes Another important thing to note about high-visibility wear is that these clothes are defined by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). In 1999, ANSI established a standard that defined the three classes of high-visibility clothing. Most of the reflective work pants we selected are either ANSI-compliant, or can be worn together with other high-visibility clothing to create an ANSI-compliant outfit.
In general, high-visibility clothing can come in a variety of bright colors. Typically, high-visibility pants and other clothing come in yellow, lime, green, and orange. They have stripes made of reflective material, and they also have a variety of features.
Additionally, they can be made of polyester material, or they can be made of light mesh fabric that will need to be worn over your everyday clothes. Some are also quite waterproof and capable of protecting you against the rain. Thus, there are a lot of options to choose from.
Our Criteria
Because high-visibility work pants and other high-visibility clothing are meant to help keep people safe, we in the Engineer Warehouse editorial team kept our eyes peeled for the highest-quality options. With this in mind, we established the following criteria to help us in our search for the best safety pants on the market:
ANSI/ISEA compliance and performance class: The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the International Safety Equipment Association (ISEA) have requirements that clothing must comply with in order to be considered high-visibility clothing. According to ANSI/ISEA standards, high-visibility clothing can also be divided into three performance classes. While we’ll be delving into this later in this article, we wanted to mention that we kept these ANSI/ISEA standards in mind when choosing pants for our list.
Material: These work pants can come in a variety of materials, though the most common one is polyester. We wanted pants that can protect the wearer from different kinds of weather, so they’ll be able to work all year round. The material should also be able to withstand rugged conditions and easy to clean.
Color and retroreflective material: According to ANSI/ISEA standards, there are certain colors that are acceptable for high-visibility clothing. These include yellow, yellow-green, orange, and red. We wanted to make sure to include pants that are made of sufficiently bright material and that their color contrasts nicely with the reflective stripes.
Design features: We also kept an eye out for certain features, like pockets, waterproof shells, and the like. These features can set each pair of pants apart from others.
With the help of these criteria, we were able to review and compare different high-visibility pants and find the best options.

Workwear doesn’t just help you look professional, but it also helps you stay safe in the workplace. The Red Kap Enhanced Visibility Reflective Work Pants are made specifically to keep up with busy days at work, rough environments, and more. It’s designed and made for professionals in a wide variety of environments.
These pants are made of a durable cotton and polyester blend finished with Red Kap’s Touchtex Technology. The fabric is constructed to retain its color very well, but it has a variety of other capabilities that stretch beyond aesthetics. It doesn’t need much ironing or pressing, it easily releases dirt and grime, it doesn’t stain easily, and it’s moisture-wicking. This fabric is great for professionals with rough jobs.
The pants come in a navy blue color with two bright yellow and silver high visibility stripes on each pant leg. Because the fabric is colorfast, you’ll be able to wash them again and again without the color ever fading. Thus, these pants are not difficult to clean and can be machine-washed without any issues.
When we wore these pants, it was probably one of the most comfortable ones we tried out. It was easy to move in, and it felt lightweight and cool. The fabric was also really soft, and the waistband had enough belt loops to securely cinch the pants closed.
While these pants are well-made and constructed with high-quality fabric, they’re not compliant with ANSI/ISEA 107-2015. However, you can wear them with other garments that meet ANSI/ISEA 107-2015 Class 2 or 3 standards.
The Good:
Whatever industry you’re in, pants like these can serve you well. This is especially true if you work outdoors, on a construction site, on a manufacturing floor, as a truck driver, and more. They’re also true to size and you’re unlikely to order a pair that’s too small or too big, as long as you know your correct size.
The Bad:
One thing that you’ll need to keep in mind is that these pants seem to run small. You’ll have to get a pair one or two sizes up from your normal size. For example, if your size is 40W x 30L, it’s better to get a pair sized 40W x 32L, or perhaps a 42W x 30L or a 42W x 32L.
The Ugly:
The reflective material tends to get dirty too easily. This can be a problem because the dirt can affect the visibility of the material. However, this doesn’t have to be an issue if you’re also wearing other reflective clothing, such as a jacket. That way, you’ll still be visible.

Features | Resistant to tearing |
Easy to wash and clean | |
Heat-sealed seams | |
ANSI/ISEA 107-2015 Type R Class 3
Fabric | PU-coated 150-denier Trilobal ripstop polyester fabric |
Fabric Color | Bright yellow |
Reflective Material | Vi-Brance reflective tape |
Reflective Material Color | Silver |
The VIKING Open Road High Visibility Pants are the rain pants you’ve been looking for. Not only are they easily visible from afar, but they’re also constructed to keep up with even the most demanding industrial jobs. Whether you’re working on a rainy night or a hot day, these pants will keep you safe and comfortable.
Pants like these work because they’re made of the best material for their purpose. These pants, for example, are made with lightweight 150 Denier Trilobal ripstop polyester/PU fabric. Even though this fabric is lightweight, Trilobal polyester is highly resistant to tearing.
In addition, these rain-proof pants come in a bright, highly visible yellow color. Aside from this, both pant legs also have two silver stripes that are made of Viking’s Vi-Brance reflective tape. The pants are also waterproof, wind-proof, and have taped and heat-sealed seams for extra durability.
We were quite impressed by how well these pants performed against water. They did indeed keep us dry, even in moderately heavy rain. It probably won’t keep you dry in a storm, but it’s something you can rely on during rainy days.
Additionally, we also liked how easy it was to clean these pants. They didn’t stain easily and were easy to wash. People in different kinds of jobs can definitely benefit from wearing these pants.
You can also rest assured that these pants are compliant with ANSI/ISEA 107-2015 Type R Class 3. This means that these pants are capable of making you visible against a highly complex background. Also, because these pants are categorized as Type R, they’re most suitable for those who work near public roadways.
The Good:
Whatever your job description is, these rain-proof pants will ensure that you can concentrate on your job without worrying about your safety or comfort. These pants can also go through brambles, thickets, and underbrush without easily ripping or tearing. They are also easy to wash and can last for a long time.
The Bad:
The sizing of these pants seems to be a bit wonky. We ordered three of these pants in different sizes for three of our editors. With the first pair, the waist fit correctly but the legs were too long. With the second pair, the waist also fit correctly but the legs were too short. The third, however, fit just right. These inconsistencies can make it difficult to order the correct size.
The Ugly:
You’ll more than likely be wearing another pair of pants underneath a pair of these pants. While they’re effective against the rain, they won’t provide much protection against the cold. Thus, if you live and work somewhere chilly, you can order at least one size up so you can wear warmer pants underneath.
Includes | Ergodyne GloWear Two-Tone High Visibility Pants |
Features | Easy to wash and clean |
Moisture-wicking and water-repellent
Must be worn with a Class 2 or 3 ANSI/ISEA 107-2015 garment
Pocket on right leg | |
Elastic waistband with drawstring
Fabric | Polyester mesh |
Fabric Color | Lime |
Reflective Material | 3M Scotchlite Reflective Material |
Reflective Material Color | Orange and silver |
Whether you work during the day or night, these pants will help you make sure that you’ll be highly visible. The Ergodyne GloWear High Visibility Pants are suitable for various professionals in various fields and are constructed to be durable yet breathable and comfortable.
The pants are made of ANSI-compliant polyester mesh, which may seem a bit flimsy but is actually quite durable and reliable. Because it’s a mesh, the material is woven to have open holes all throughout. However, the material also has good elasticity so it won’t tear so easily. Furthermore, the fabric is moisture-wicking and able to repel water.
With their bright lime color, these pants are guaranteed to make you highly conspicuous. Each pant leg has two reflective orange and silver stripes that enhance the visibility of these pants. Because these stripes are made of 3M Scotchlite Reflective Material, they’re durable and constructed to be as effective as possible.
While these features are all well and good, we’re particularly excited about the cargo pocket on the right leg. The pants have just one pocket, but it’s large and can fit a wide variety of objects. We were able to slip a water bottle, a hammer, and a small case of screwdriver bits into the pocket, though not all at once, of course. A pocket like this can be quite useful, and it’s one of the best design features of these pants.
It’s important to ensure that you comply with standards regarding safety in the workplace and on job sites. These pants qualify as ANSI/ISEA 107-2015 Class E Level 2. This means that they have to be worn with another Class 2 or 3 garment for the whole outfit to be rated Class 3 and deemed to be ANSI-compliant.
The Good:
Overall, these pants can be worn with Ergodyne Class 2 or 3 safety vests. The pants can last you years and you’ll find that they’re practical and useful in various situations. Even after you’ve washed them several times, the color will not fade, the fabric will remain the same quality, and the reflective tape will stay as good as new.
The Bad:
This isn’t so much about the product, but rather how the product is described. The product description doesn’t explicitly say that the pants are meant to be worn over another pair of pants, and not on their own. It’s important to remember that its material is mesh, so it’s definitely not meant to be used on its own.
The Ugly:
The waistband on the pants that we received wasn’t the best. They don’t really do a good job holding the pants up by themselves. Fortunately, the pants also have a drawstring that works more effectively.

Must be worn with a Class 2 or 3 ANSI/ISEA 107-2015 garment

Some jobs are demanding and require you to be onsite at certain times, rain or shine. Fortunately, the Ergodyne GloWear High Visibility Rain Pants can help protect you from the elements. Not only that -- these pants are also constructed to make you highly visible and conspicuous to ensure your safety.
With a 300D oxford polyester outer layer and a polyester mesh lining, these pants are made to keep you comfortable and protected. They also have a PU coating that effectively repels water. With all these combined, these pants are constructed with a high-quality fabric that’s made for busy industrial professionals.
These pants also come in either bright orange or bright lime. Colors like these will make you very easy to spot against a wide variety of backgrounds and surroundings. In addition, each pant leg comes with two silver reflective stripes made of high-quality and durable 3M Scotchlite Reflective Material.
Like the previous Ergodyne entry on this list, these work pants with reflective stripes are rated ANSI/ISEA 107-2015 Class E Level 2. You’ll need to wear them with another Class 2 or 3 garment, such as a high-visibility vest, to ensure compliance with ANSI standards. Ergodyne also offers other high-visibility garments, so you’ll be able to find a suitable pairing.
Also similar to the previous pair of pants, this one comes with a large pocket on the right leg. This pocket allows you to have access to your phone, notebook, or other tools. We were able to easily store the same water bottle, hammer, and case of screwdriver bits that we used to test the previous pair of pants.
The Good:
When you do a lot of work outdoors, you’ll inevitably be exposed to all kinds of weather. Protect yourself from the rain, puddles, and even shallow bodies of water while also ensuring that you’ll be highly visible in nearly any setting. For added comfort, these pants have an elastic waistband with a drawstring. They perform well in the rain and can keep you well-protected and comfortable.
The Bad:
While these pants are well made and sized correctly, we noticed that the zippers tend to snag. It won’t always happen, but it can be inconvenient especially when you’re in a hurry. Additionally, snagging can damage the zipper or the fabric.
The Ugly:
For the most part, we’re satisfied with how these pants work. However, the fabric material makes a lot of noise. Even the smallest movements generate a crinkling or swishing sound. While this isn’t a big problem, it can be irritating to hear constant noise while you work.
Includes | Carhartt Men's High-Visibility Class E Waterproof Pants |
Features | Waterproof shell |
Fully-taped seams | |
Must be worn with a Class 2 or 3 ANSI/ISEA 107-2015 garment
Elastic waistband with drawstring
Fabric | 250-denier 100% polyester |
XXXXX | XXXXX |
Fabric Color | Lime |
Reflective Material Color | Silver |
Complete your high-visibility gear with Carhartt work pants. These aren’t your run-off-the-mill high-visibility work pants because they’re constructed to be more than just a piece of clothing. They come with several different features that can help ensure that you’ll stay safe at work at all times.
For durability and protection against the elements, the pants have an outer layer of 250-denier 100% polyester. They also have a waterproof membrane to stop the fabric from getting soaked, and the seams are fully taped for improved durability. Other than these, the pants come with zippers that have double-storm channel flaps, as well as pouches that can accommodate knee pads. You also get pockets that can store your tools to prevent you from losing them.
Meanwhile, the color of the pants is a bright yellowish lime that can guarantee that you’ll be visible against almost any background. The pant legs have two reflective silver stripes each, and the other details are black.
Wearing these Carhartt work pants protected us from light to moderate rain. Though it can provide some protection against heavier rains, it will probably still let some moisture through. However, you won’t get soaked. Additionally, you’ll be able to pull these pants over any pair you’re already wearing.
This particular pair of pants meet the requirements of ANSI/ISEA 107-2015 Type R Class E. Thus, it’s a roadway garment and is suitable for a wide variety of professionals and workers. However, it needs to be worn with another garment that meets Class 2 or 3 requirements, such as a vest. The whole outfit will then be ANSI-compliant.
The Good:
With the way these Carhartt work pants are constructed, they’re easy to use, put on, and pull off. You can easily and quickly pull them over your pants and boots, allowing you to spring into action even in unexpected situations. The waistband is elastic and comes with a drawcord, so you can order a size larger than your usual size so the pants can fit over the pants you’re already wearing.
The Bad:
While we liked the pants overall, we think they can be improved in certain ways. For one thing, it would have been easier if the pants had a fly zipper and belt loops instead of an elastic waistband.
The Ugly:
The sizing can also be a bit inconsistent. We ordered three pairs as well, and all of them were larger than we expected. We expected them to be larger since they’re meant to go over pants that we were already wearing. However, they were a bit too big, so you might want to order a size or two down.
Includes | JORESTECH Light Weight Class 3 Level 2 Waterproof Pants |
Features | Ankle zippers to accommodate boots |
Sewn-on reflective stripes
Must be worn with a Class 2 or 3 ANSI/ISEA 107-2015 garment
Right and left flap openings
Elastic waistband with drawstring
Fabric | PU-coated two-layer fabric |
Fabric Color | Yellow and black |
Reflective Material Color | Silver |
Depending on the season and on the climate where you live, working outdoors can be difficult in a variety of ways. The JORESTECH Waterproof Rain Pants are made for damp and windy weather, protecting you from the wet and chill. With these pants, you can get the job done without sacrificing your safety and comfort.
Perhaps the best thing about these pants is the fabric that they’re made of. Not only is the fabric waterproof, but it’s also lightweight and breathable. It’s a two-layer material coated with polyurethane to make it wind- and water-resistant. This fabric is also hardwearing and can keep up with your job’s demands.
With a bright yellow color, these reflective work pants will be able to catch your eye very easily, even against busy backgrounds. The bright yellow is further offset by the black sections at the bottom of the pants, which also have ankle zippers that make it easier to put on and remove boots.
Along with the black section, both pant legs also have two reflective silver stripes each. These stripes were sewn on instead of glued on, which is definitely an advantage.
Additionally, the rain-proof pants performed impressively against moderate and even heavy rains. It also fit us just right, so it was easy to move around without worrying about keeping the pants on.
Make sure that you pair these pants up with a Class 2 or 3 garment. These pants meet ANSI/ISEA 107-2015 Type R Class E requirements, which means that by themselves, they are not considered to be ANSI-compliant. However, your whole attire will be ANSI-compliant if you wear the pants with a Class 2 or 3 garment, such as a safety vest or jacket.
The Good:
These waterproof rain pants are designed for an easy and comfortable fit while providing you with protection from the rain. It can keep you comfortably dry and help you avoid getting dirt and mud on your jeans. Additionally, they’re easy to clean and can easily withstand regular use.
The Bad:
The cuffs of the legs are secured by snaps, not velcro. This can be a problem because the bottoms of the pants are more prone to getting dirty. The dirt can accumulate in the snaps, which can make them difficult to close.
The Ugly:
From what we can see, the seams can be better. The stitches aren’t very secure, so the pants can see signs of wear and tear more easily if you’re not careful. If you can have the seams reinforced, you’ll unlikely to have problems with the pants over time. Seams can also be repaired if they split, though it can be a hassle.
Includes | Ergodyne GloWear High Visibility Reflective Rain Bib with Black Bottom |
Features | Ankle zippers to accommodate boots |
Must be worn with a Class 2 or 3 ANSI/ISEA 107-2015 garment
Front zipper | |
Machine-washable | |
Fabric | 300D oxford polyester with PU coating |
Fabric Color | Lime |
Reflective Material | 3M Scotchlite 2” reflective tape |
Reflective Material Color | Silver |
XXXXX | XXXXX |
Working in inclement weather is often unavoidable. The Ergodyne GloWear Reflective Rain Bib is basically an overall that helps keep you reasonably dry and comfortable even when working in the rain. It’s highly versatile and can be used by professionals in different fields that work in various settings.
With an outer shell made of 300D oxford polyester, this bib is made to be durable and heavy-duty. The fabric also has a PU coating that repels water without affecting the fabric’s breathability. Meanwhile, the suspenders are elastic and adjustable, allowing the bib to fit more easily on different body types.
The bib comes in a bright and highly visible lime color. A color like this is eye-catching and can be visible from afar or against a busy background. The pant legs have black bottoms and two reflective silver stripes each. The bottoms of the pant legs also have a zipper opening that can make it easier to put on and remove boots.
This rain bib worked well for us overall, allowing us to move freely while keeping us protected and visible. Initially, we thought that the straps might be restrictive or difficult to adjust, but they worked well and helped keep the pants up as we moved.
By itself, the bib meets ANSI/ISEA 107-2015 Type R Class E standards. Because it meets Class E standards and not Class 1, 2, or 3, it is not ANSI-compliant. If you wear it with another garment that meets Class 2 or 3 standards at least, your entire outfit will be able to comply with ANSI standards.
The Good:
The mesh interior of the bib makes it particularly comfortable to wear, even for long hours. No matter what line of work you’re in, this bib can make your job easier and a lot safer. It’s best suited for people who work outdoors in low light, railway workers, utility crews, and many others who have to work in the rain.
The Bad:
This bib has a zipper closure, but the zipper seems to have a tendency to snag. This can be an issue because it can make putting on and closing the bib more difficult than it should be. It can also take you longer to put on the bib just because the zipper is acting up.
The Ugly:
We had a bit of an issue with the sizing of this bib. We ordered three bibs for three of our editors, and all three ran one or two sizes too small. Perhaps we should have ordered a size or two up because we wore the bibs over our clothes.
Includes | Just In Trend High Visibility Reflective Safety Pants |
Features | Two front pockets, two back pockets, two cargo pockets |
Tear-resistant | |
Must be washed with mild detergent
Waistband with belt loops
Front zipper closure | |
Fabric | Mercerized polyester and cotton blend |
Fabric Color | Navy blue |
Reflective Material | 2” ANSI/ISEA 107 compliant FR reflective tape |
Reflective Material Color | Silver |
While many other high-visibility work pants come in bright colors, the Just In Trend Reflective Safety Pants do things a bit differently. However, they still effectively provide protection and comfort for various professionals in different fields.
These pants are constructed to be as durable as possible. It’s made of a mercerized polyester and cotton blend that’s tear-resistant and long-lasting. Mercerized fabrics are also colorfast because they absorb dyes better. Additionally, they’re also far less prone to shrinkage, which means that you can wash these pants in mild detergent and water without damaging them.
Also, these pants are made to be as comfortable as possible. They’re equipped with a front zipper as well as a waistband with belt loops, so you'll be able to easily make sure that your pants are secure around your waist.
We especially liked the number of pockets these pants came with. A lot of high-visibility work pants come with just one or two pockets, but this one came with six. We were able to carry our phones, notebooks, pens, wallets, and more without any of them impeding our movements.
Furthermore, these pants come in navy blue, unlike many other safety pants that come in bright orange or green. However, each of the pant legs has two stripes that are made of ANSI/ISEA 107 compliant reflective tape. Thus, even with a darker fabric, the pants will still render the wearer visible from afar. There’s also a nice contrast between the background color of the fabric and the color of the reflective material.
The Good:
Pants like these can be worn over other clothes, such as jeans. Thus, changing in and out of your work clothes won’t have to be inconvenient and can be done nearly anywhere. This can be especially handy in emergencies, or even if you’re just running late for work. Just make sure that you follow the basic care instructions for these pants, and they’ll be able to last for a long time.
The Bad:
The fabric is a bit more high-maintenance than we would like. The pants need to be washed using mild temperatures and mild detergents to help them last longer. This can be a hassle especially when you just want to give them a quick wash and dry after a dirty day outdoors.
The Ugly:
We would have liked the reflective stripes to have been placed higher up on the pant legs, like around the thighs instead of around the calves. Since the color of the background material is dark blue, the pants might not be as easily visible compared to others. You’ll definitely have to wear a reflective vest, jacket, or shirt with these pants.
Includes | Portwest Two-Tone High-Visibility Cargo Work Trousers |
Features | Two front pockets, two back pockets, two cargo pockets |
Breathable and comfortable
Elastic waistband with drawstring
Garterized cuffs | |
Must be worn with a Class 2 or 3 ANSI/ISEA 107-2015 garment
Fabric | Mesh |
Fabric Color | Yellow and black |
Reflective Material Color | Orange and silver |
Practicality and durability go hand-in-hand with the Portwest Two-Tone High-Visibility Work Trousers. Made for busy professionals in industrial fields, these pants can take whatever you throw at them without damage. As part of a full attire, they can ensure that you’re compliant with ANSI standards.
For optimum breathability, these reflective work pants are made of a mesh fabric that allows air to easily pass through. However, the fabric is durable and won’t tear easily even with heavy use. With a fabric like this, you won’t have to sacrifice comfort for durability and protection from various hazards.
The pants come in bright yellow that can be easily visible even when you’re standing against a busy or complicated background. It will also make you visible in low light conditions or in the dark, which can help you avoid accidents and hazards. Each pant leg also has a black bottom with two reflective stripes in orange and silver.
We especially liked how well the colors of the pants worked well together. The reflective tape contrasted nicely with the black sections of the pant legs, while the orange bands worked well with the yellow sections. These pants provide a high degree of visibility and will work well with matching tops.
Because this pair of pants meets ANSI/ISEA 107-2015 Class E standards, it is not considered to be ANSI-compliant by itself. It has to be worn with a safety vest or jacket that meets Class 2 or 3 standards. The whole attire would then be considered to be ANSI-compliant.
The Good:
With its bright yellow color and its silver and orange reflective stripes, these pants would be pretty hard to miss. It’s a great choice if you want something light and breathable but durable to wear over your jeans. Because it has a drawcord waist, it can fit different types of frames as long as you order the right size for your purposes.
The Bad:
While the elastic waistband works quite well, the garterized cuffs don’t quite work as well. They make it difficult to pull the pants over work boots, unlike other high-visibility work pants. The cuffs don’t stretch quite far, so you can end up jamming your feet through if you have boots on. You can also put your work boots on after putting these pants on instead.
The Ugly:
Though we liked these pants overall, it would have been better if they had been available in more sizes. Currently, it’s only available in four different sizes, which aren’t that many when compared to the sizing offered by other pants. It can thus be difficult to find the size that will fit you best.

The Good:
These pants are a reliable choice that can protect you against the elements and help keep you away from hazardous situations. It's a great choice for a variety of workers, such as truck drivers, construction workers, heavy equipment operators, and more. If you have to wear safety gear in order to work fast and hard in colder weather, these are the pants for you.
The Bad:
The sizes of these pants run a bit small. Thus, if you’re planning on wearing them over your jeans, order one or two sizes up. If you order your exact size, you might not be able to pull them over your jeans, or you might have to wear them without jeans underneath.
The Ugly:
We didn’t like the waistband of these pants. They have an elastic waistband, but it would have been better if they had a drawstring to make securing the waistband. A drawstring would have made it easier to cinch the waistband more securely.

What to look for when buying high-visibility pants
Work pants with reflective stripes are a necessity for people who work jobs where they have to be on the road. It is important to look for pants that are durable, comfortable, and effective at keeping you visible. To make sure that you buy a good pair of work pants, keep the following things in mind.
Material: You should look for pants made of materials that are lightweight and won't restrict movement. Polyester is a good choice because it's soft, comfortable, and breathable. You can also opt for pants made of waterproof material that can protect you from the rain.
Color: You should also consider the color of the pants when looking for one that will make you more visible in low-light situations, such as at night or in foggy conditions. Orange and yellow are both good colors to choose from because they have high contrast against darker backgrounds.
Reflectivity: The pants should have reflective strips or other features that will help you be seen in low light conditions. The reflective material should be highly visible, and it should also be durable and resistant to wear and tear.
Fit: The pants should fit snugly but not be too tight. They should also have a comfortable waistband that won't dig into your skin. However, ordering clothes online can be tough, because you can't be sure of how well the clothes will fit. You can check the reviews to see if you'll need to order one or two sizes down or up.
Performance class: If you’re going to be using safety work pants, then it most likely should be compliant with ANSI/ISEA standards. However, you should also think about the performance class of the clothing. Make sure that you get the right performance class according to the nature of your work.

Wearing safety work pants
If you’re going to be out and about doing some work outside, wearing safety work pants can help keep you from getting hit by a car. There’s also the benefit of being easily visible, which might come in handy if something were to happen and you needed help from someone. Whether you plan on working outside or not, there are benefits to wearing work pants with reflective stripes for your safety and the safety of others.
It’s important to keep in mind that high-visibility clothing must be worn and used properly. When worn on their own, high-visibility pants aren’t typically considered to be fully ANSI/ISEA compliant, and they’re unlikely to provide you with enough protection just by themselves. You’ll need to use them with other high-visibility clothing, such as vests or jackets.
You should also make sure that the safety work pants you choose fit you correctly. See if you can move around well while wearing them, and if the waist fits you well. Additionally, make sure that your high-visibility clothing is the topmost layer of clothing you wear. You can wear jeans, shirts, and sweaters underneath, but make sure that you don’t wear anything over your high-visibility gear.
Conclusion
High-visibility pants are an essential part of workwear in certain situations. Various workers are required to wear high-visibility clothing when working in certain industries, such as construction, surveying, road repairs, and the like. They can also protect against harsh weather, provide insulation from the cold, and protect against rain.
